The main reason for our visit was to meet up with friends that moved here last summer. We met up with Chris for an afternoon and then met back up with Chris and Portia to watch England’s first rugby match of the Six nations.

Unfortunately there aren’t any Aires in Mojacar and the campsites didn’t have particularly good reviews so we decided to wild camp on the beach to the south of Mojacar.
We found the perfect spot our own piece of paradise, which was ideal for dogs too. We enjoyed it so much we spent a few nights here.
Mojacar is split into two main areas. The old white town has been populated since the bronze age around 2000 BC and Mojacar playa. There’s lots to see and do in Mojacar Playa and even though it has a high expat community it still feels very Spanish.
