We are frantically packing up and sifting through all our possessions. Its amazing the items that we have kept over the years. So we are having to decide do we pack it into a box? Do we keep it for another day? Do we put it in the bin? or do we take it with us?
This sounds easy in essence but when we are going to be away for a good 12 months we have to remember its not always going to be sunny, this is making it hard to believe with the hot spell we are enjoying!
The house is starting to look empty and the pile of what we want to take is getting larger . Reading other travel bloggers we know over the next few days we will have to be culling that pile too, but one step at a time.
The house is now up for rent with several viewings booked in this week so fingers crossed we will soon have tenants. This has been an interesting experience so far for me bearing in mind that I have worked in the industry for the majority of my career. Its very different when you are the Landlord and not the agent but the experience so far has been pleasing and I am feeling confident that it wont be long before we find the right tenant.
My company car has gone back and we have Colin’s car up for sale so very soon our only form of transport will be the Burstner motorhome and two Raleigh E bikes.
We are confident that we are on track, we are making sure we make the most of every day.
