Thyborøn is a small fishing village which looks like it is undergoing some regeneration.
We drove past some unusual houses that are currently being built out of the hull of a boat. We both said ‘wow, we would love to live in that’

The sea war museum is located here. The museum was opened in 2015 and is dedicated to the Battle of Jutland which took place in World War I in May 1916 and was the greatest ever sea battle in history.

There is also a memorial park which commemorates the 8,645 soldiers from both Britain and Germany who lost their lives in the battle and is a poignant reminder to them all.
