We have had a lovely few days at Los Olivos Aire which is situated about 10km outside of Cartagena.
Firstly, it was Colin’s birthday and it was the warmest day we have had for about 3 months. The sun shone and we had a relaxing day and then a BBQ.

When we woke up on Sunday morning we had new neighbours.
We started chatting to Debbie and Chris who unlike us have been motor homing for years. Before Debbie retired she was a hairdresser so she very kindly offered to apply my hair dye. What a blessing to have a professional rather than Colin who tends to apply the dye to my forehead and ears, more than my hair!
Debbie started showing us some must buy purchases that she has found invaluable and we sat and whiled a few hours.

We met up again in the evening and chatted until the early hours of the morning.
Tonight Debbie surprised us by cooking us jacket potatoes in a Ramoska and Chris dropped them around for us for tea.

This is the part of motor homing we are enjoying the most. We are making plenty of new friends and everybody we have met is happy to help us and pass on their wealth of experience.
Debbie and Chris are also heading south. We are planning on meeting up again and we are sure we will all stay in touch.
