This is the last village classed as The Algarve. Odeceixe village lies on the south bank of the Ribeira de Seixe, which forms the border between The Algarve and Alentejo.
When we arrived the road was a single track and we kept thinking we where on a wild goose chase and then when we turned the corner there were a few motorhomes and cars parked up.
This is one of our favourite wild camping places we have found so far. We had a great view over the beach with town as a back drop.
We were able to let the dogs have a swim in the Ribeira de Seixe so they were both delighted.
There was also plenty of walks in and around the area.
We planned to stay here for a few day but the weather forecast changed and a thunder and lightening storm was due so we headed to the local campsite to take shelter.
