Well we have definitely had our fair share of lakes recently. Lake Garda was also very nice. We love the sunshine and don’t usually complain if the weather is hot as we both love it but for the poor dogs it was too hot for them again.
So we sat by the pool, Colin had a swim and had to buy a swimming hat. What’s that all about?
The dogs had a swim in the lake.
Always amazes us the dogs love swimming but when it comes to bath time neither of them are keen. Up at the dog walk area there was a tap with a hosepipe so you could wash the dogs. This opportunity for us really couldn’t be missed. We went from being the best doggy parents to the worst in 5 seconds!!! At least they both smelled nice again which was the main thing.
We dressed ourselves up and was going to take the bus into town but by the time we had walked half way to the bus stop we were sweating too much and gave up on that idea and headed to the campsite restaurant for a quick bite to eat !!
So, we would definitely recommend Lake Garda as a holiday destination, there was lots to see and do. The lake itself is gorgeous and there are lots of towns to explore 🙂
