We decided it would be nice to have a couple of days walking and playing with the dogs. We always feel a little bit guilty when we have visited a City as the poor dogs don’t get as much of our attention.
Lake Vineula is a man made reservoir that not only provides much needed water for the surrounding area it really enhances the landscape too. Its located just 12 miles north of Torre del Mar, so it wasn’t too far away from Malaga which was our intended next stop.
Although unfortunately our stay didn’t quite go to plan. We arrived at the campsite which was in the perfect location. However, just after we arrived Colin twisted his foot that has arthritis in and within about 2 hours it had swollen up so much he couldn’t walk.
Like all organised travellers we have a tin with basic medical supplies, but when we looked in the tin we had run out of anti inflammatory tablets!!
So while Colin rested his foot, I walked and played with the dogs and enjoyed the surrounding area.
Its a lovely location and we really wish things had worked out differently but after a few days Colin’s foot wasn’t getting any better so we needed to leave and find a pharmacy and keep our fingers crossed we could get some anti inflammatory tablets without to much hassle.
