We left Lake Vinuela in search of a pharmacy to get Colin some anti inflammatory tablets to take the swelling down in his foot. Colin usually get these tablets on prescription in the UK but after googling it we were keeping our fingers crossed that they could be bought over the counter in a pharmacy in Spain.
We wanted to find a campsite that had reasonable facilities and after asking Motorhoming Spain Facebook Group for a recommendation Almayate seemed to tick all of our boxes.
First stop the pharmacy in the town and it was great news we were able to buy the tablets over the counter. Next stop the supermarket to stock up for a few days and finally we arrived and settled ourselves in to the campsite.
Almayate is located in between Torre del Mar (which is walking distance) and Malaga. The campsite suited us well as it had a really good dog walking area which just makes life so much easier with two active dogs.
