San Roque is located just south of Estepona on the east coast of Spain and approx. 15 miles North of Gibraltar.
One part of motorhoming that we both love is the versatility of where you can stay. In San Roque we chose to stay for a couple of nights on a beach with great views looking out to sea.
Not only is it nice to relax by the beach for a couple of days, these stopovers really suit the dogs.
Most of the beaches around the popular tourists areas are not dog friendly but small coves like this one is fine to walk dogs on. The general rule of thumb seems to be if it is golden sand then no dogs. Shingle beach then it’s ok for dogs.
