We travelled back across central Spain and decided to stop at Alcossebre. The temperatures were still good but a lot cooler than it had been around Arunjuez.
Alcossebre is a lovely town that seems more Spanish and less touristy to some of the towns on the coast.
We stayed at the campsite which was opposite the ‘dog beach’ which was pebbly but a good few of the beaches along the main stretch were golden sand and looked amazing.

Our campsite had everything we needed including a supermarket and Colin was pleased as they had a pool and a jacuzzi.

We had a good few days relaxing in the sun and getting ready to set off on our next adventure.
